With a width of approximately 10 mm at the top, tapering to 4 mm at the bottom , it features a rich pattern of organic waves that captures the energy and perpetual movement of water.

This wave design is directly inspired by the iconic imagery of Japanese art. Motifs like those in Hokusai's famous "Great Wave" showed the West a new way of depicting nature—not just as a static image, but as a living force.

Japonism: When East met West: In the late 19th century, after Japan's opening to the world, Japanese art and crafts flooded European markets. The clear aesthetics, novel compositions, and fascinating motifs, especially depictions of nature, sparked a veritable craze known as "Japonism." European artists, including many who later embraced Art Nouveau, were deeply influenced by the power of line, the flat color planes, and the way the Japanese stylized nature. Your Japan Ring will be handcrafted especially for you. This emphasizes its unique character and can take up to six weeks to complete. Because each piece is handcrafted, slight, beautiful variations in the design may occur.

Each of my pieces of jewelry is handcrafted with great attention to detail. Since I have a small studio, it may happen that your desired piece isn't immediately in stock. If it's already finished, it will be on its way to you within 1-3 days .

If it needs to be custom-made for you, please allow up to six weeks for production , plus 1-3 days for shipping . But rest assured: The wait is worth it! Shipping is, of course, free and insured .

If you are not satisfied with your piece of jewelry, you can return it within 14 days of receipt .

Please note that the jewelry must be unworn and undamaged .

As a customer, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs of €10 , but these will of course be deducted from the refunded amount once I have received your return.
